Mural - Seeing the Obvious: Tikam Tikam

Seeing the Obvious: Tikam Tikam is a participatory community mural commissioned by 3Pumpkins. It is co-created with the residents in Boon Lay. Inspired by the spirit of play and chance, the design features shapes and colours that have been chosen by residents through the random throw of a dice. Every shape that was selected by participants was blended with other shapes into different combinations. Through a playful and engaging process, participants can develop a sense of belonging to the artwork and the community. This mural marks the beginning of Blk 177 Boon Lay Drive void deck as a community gallery.
